Góra zadrżała i urodziła mysz!
Mój mąż czy znajomi podsuwają mi często fajne przysłowia arabskie. Postanowiłam im się lepiej przyjrzeć i zrozumieć ich znaczenie.
Niedawno gościliśmy dwie rodziny z czwórką dziewczynek w wieku szkolnym. Nieśmiało siedziały na kanapie, więc jeden tata zaproponował, aby zaśpiewały nam piosenkę. "Pomyślcie, wybierzcie, macie piękne głosy i my chętnie posłuchamy". Dziewczynki zaczęły wielką naradę, dyskutowały, wymieniały się pomysłami, myślę, że przeszła tam "mała wielka burza mózgów". W końcu wybrały. Najprostszą i najkrótszą piosenkę jaką znały. Występ zakończył się prawie w minutę. Piękna piosenka i ładnie wykonana, ale jak stwierdzili wszyscy, za krótka, jak na tak "wielkie przygotowania". Jeden tata skwitował: "تمخض الجبل فولد فأرًا". Góra zadrżała i urodziła mysz!
Muszę się przyznać, że to przysłowie też sprawdza się nie raz w moim życiu. Ile to czasem robię planów na wolnę sobotę, na przykład? Wstanę skoro świt, posprzątam w szafie, umyję lodówkę, zrobię pranie, poszydełkuję....i lista prawie się nie kończy. A potem sobota zaskoczy mnie swoim lenistwem i tak dobrze, jeżeli chociaż pomyślę o tej szafie! Lodówkę odkładam na inny dzień, na szydełku uda mi się zrobić tylko dwa ściegi...i tyle. "Góry zadrżały, ale cóż jak tylko mała myszka z nich wyszła!! Ale i tak czasem bywa. Myśle, że należy podchodzić do wszystkiego z dystansem, że góra zawsze będzie drżeć, bo lubimy snuć plany, chcemy jak najwięcej zrobić, a potem życie pokazuje, że jest inaczej niż zaplanowaliśmy, "krócej" niż myśleliśmy...I to też jest OK.
Życzę Wam na nadchodzący weekend (bo u nas już jutro się zaczyna), aby tych "myszy" wyszło tylke ile trzeba albo ile dacie radę zrobić w danym dniu! Powodzenia!

My husband or friends often give me cool Arabic proverbs. I decided to take a closer look at them and understand their meaning.
Recently we hosted two families with four school-age girls. They were sitting shyly on the couch, so one dad suggested that they sing a song for us. "Think and choose. You have beautiful voices and we will be happy to listen." The girls started a big discussion and exchanging ideas, I think there was a "little big brainstorming". They finally chose. The simplest and shortest song they knew. The show was over in almost a minute. A beautiful song and nicely performed, but as everyone said, too short for such "great preparations". One dad commented: "تمخض الجبل فولد فأرًا." The mountain trembled and gave birth to a mouse.
I must admit that this proverb has also been true many times in my life. How often do I make plans for a free Saturday, for example? I will get up at dawn, tidy up in the wardrobe, clean the fridge, do laundry, crochet... and the list goes on and on. And then Saturday would surprise me with its laziness, and it's so good if I even think about that wardrobe! I postpone cleaning the fridge for another day, I can only crochet two lines of stitches... and that's it. "The mountain trembled, but only the little mouse got out of it!! It happens sometimes though. I think that we should approach everything with caution, that the mountains will always tremble because we like to make plans, we want to do as much as possible, and then life shows that it is different than we planned, "shorter" than we thought... And that's OK too.
